Story

Moonrose was established in 2019 by Susan Jones, a trained steiner nurse from Waiheke Island, New Zealand with the purpose to help others through the use of anthroposophic medicine. Moonrose also acts as a remembrance of Susan’s late mother – also a dedicated and hard working woman and healer who lived her life with integrity and beauty.

Through the use of anthroposophic medicine, Susan’s passion is to help alleviate physical and emotional conditions for all people of all ages with the common goal of seeking wellness.

Anthroposophic nurses are fully qualified professionals who have undertaken further training in Anthroposophic nursing. Susan’s training took place over 3 yrs at Taruna College the centre for adult Steiner education in Hawkes Bay New Zealand.

The Nurse receives an education that leads to a personal journey encompassing streams of academic rigour, botany, Human development, the arts, research, the anthroposophic model of the human being, inner development and clinical practice.
